SPECIAL EDITION IN MEMORY OF LATE EMERITUS PROFESSOR VINCENT OLUSEGUN SOWEMIMO OLUNLOYO IN COLABORATION WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF SYSTEMS ENGINEERING
CALL FOR PAPERS
The Journal of Engineering Research (JER) in collaboration with the Department of Systems Engineering, University of Lagos hereby calls for submission of research findings in forms of academic papers, innovative concepts, reviews and experimental reports to be published in a special edition of JER in honour of its first Editor-In-Chief, Late Emeritus Professor Vincent Olusegun Sowemimo Olunloyo, FEng, FAS, NNOM. Contributions into this special edition will be particularly streamlined in favour of but not limited to the research specializations of the late Professor in the following areas:
- Computational Fluid Mechanics
- Numerical Methods
- Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
- Aerodynamics
- Robotics
- Computational Visualization/Soft Computing
- Environmental Fluid Mechanics
- Applied Mechanics/Nonlinear Dynamics
Contributions are particularly solicited from but not limited to colleagues, students and other associates of the late Professor in Nigeria and in the Diaspora as a way of honouring this academic colossus who contributed immensely to knowledge and practice worldwide.
Format: Articles to be submitted should be in line with the guidelines and template of the Journal of Engineering Research, University of Lagos obtainable at www.jer.unilag.edu.ng.
Review: Articles submitted will be subjected to the blind peer-review processes of the JER.
Submission: Articles should be submitted as an attachment by email, the subject of which should be clearly marked ‘VOSO JER Edition’ to any of the following email addresses:

- Peer-Review Processes - February 10 – May 31, 2019
- Notification of Acceptance of Articles - February 28 – June 14, 2019
- Deadline for submission of Corrected Galley Proofs - June 30, 2019
- Expected Date of Publication - July 15. 2019
- Launching (Post-Humus Birthday of VOSO) - July 22, 2019.
